CLEAR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE START

What being part of the team means.

01

Show up prepared.

Confirm the scope, location, appointment window, access, and required tools before the visit. Tell Mayer promptly if you will be late or cannot attend.

02

Represent Mayer professionally.

Be courteous, protect the property, wear appropriate work clothing, and respect the customer’s home or business and operating hours.

03

Follow the approved scope.

Use the agreed pricing. Get written Mayer and customer authorization before additional work or charges. Route new work requests through Mayer.

04

Work safely and within your qualifications.

Keep applicable licenses and insurance current. Confirm who handles permits, materials, and specialty work before accepting a job. Do not perform work you are not qualified or authorized to do.

05

Document the work.

Provide before/after photos, relevant readings or test results, material details, installation dates, and clear completion notes.

06

Leave it ready for the customer.

Protect surfaces, clean up, explain the completed work, and tell Mayer about remaining concerns or callback needs.

07

Welcome honest feedback.

Customers review completed work. Mayer shares their feedback with you. Never pressure a customer for a positive review or offer them an incentive for one.

08

Own the follow-through.

Respond promptly to Mayer about corrections or callbacks. Warranty scope, compensation, payment terms, and other job conditions must be agreed in writing.

An application is not approval or a promise of work. Job scope, payment, warranty, and contractor agreement terms are established separately before work is assigned.
